My name is Janai, a mother of two beautiful girls who have taught me so much about myself. My journey as a Birth worker started when I decided to challenge the status quo due to the disparities of the black community and healthcare system. For as long as I can remember, I have been an advocate for reproductive justice, inclusivity, access, and equity across the BIPOC and marginalized communities. I was called to this work after witnessing my own quality of treatment while giving birth.

This work is incredibly special to me. In addition to my role in birth work, I'm also a Sound Healer, using the power of vibrations and frequencies to promote healing and wellness.

I founded Raw Blk Energy holistic wellness, a brand focused on providing access to doula, lactation, and vibrational healing services. Our primary mission is to address the unequivocally high infant and maternal mortality rate amongst African-American mothers.

As a Doula, I am here to assist you in this sacred journey. My practice is to listen, empower, support, affirm, and guide you. This journey is yours, and I am here to stand with you as you advocate for yourself during the most sacred time of your life. No matter what your end goal may be, I am committed to supporting you on this beautiful journey.
